well if you want all the features of 3.03 without having to use devhook, then yes, you should upgrade to 3.03 OE-A. Plus you get to play ps1 games on that firmware, which makes your psp all the more "pimp". :P

I'm not the right person to be answering custom firmware questions, as I 've never used one before, but I do believe 3.03OE-A allows homebrew, obviously or else people wouldn't want to upgrade it. >_>

most people have it because currently there is no need to go from 3.02 oe-b to 3.03 oe-a because there arent even really any changes besides firmware and there are many threads on how to sucessfully play isos and ps1 games on it

whoa!!! Finally i upgraded to 3.03 OE-A! Successful. i was scared as hell that it wont turn on at all. but its all good! just have to follow the instruction! for people that would like to upgrade watch the video from youtube. its super usefull! well good luck to everyone!
