Hi,
Im interested in flashing my xbox360 drive and i am wanting to know how to identify what type of harddrive i have and the nessesary firmware for that drive? So my questions are:
1. When my console is open how do i know what hard drive i have
2. What firmware is required for that hard drve

Hard drive?You mean dvd drive...you dont flash the hard drive. I would do a bit more reading round if I was you. There will be a sticker on top of your dvd drive that will tell u what type of firmware you have. If its a Sammy drive, it will say F/W=xxxx, if its a Hitachi it will say Rom Version =
