I saw this also on Xbox360fanboy.com. Says that it is a possibility that it will have a 120GB hard drive. If that is the case then we all got jipped and hopefully we will see more reasonable prices for the 360 hard drives.

To me, it seems fake. One thing is, how do we handle the audio? I run everything optical, and im not buying an amp just to split off the audio from hdmi to optical.
I would say fake until you hear anything from MS.
But HDMI would be very welcome since i cant do 1080p via component or vga on my TV. Sure my TV upconverts everything to 1080p, but its not even close to the same. And i really want to see Hd-dvds in there true glory.
I would bet more on a cable addon, than a new designed port. Or both, since i dont think MS will want to piss off 10 million of its early adopters. All IMHO.

I agree that a split component/hdmi cable would be practical but then all of us early adopters would still have to buy a new av cable. And I'd bet it would retail at $69 or above just because of HDMI.

If there really is an Xbox 360 v2 coming out, will my Xbox 360 still be good? Is it a bigger difference having the 65 nm thingy or not really? Because I don't want to have to get rid of my Xbox 360 for a new one, also will the 120GB HDD be removeable like the 20GB one?

Probably is true, but I bet they will release the 120GB HDD for $129.99 so we old xbox360 owners can upgrade. Then the 20 GIG will drop to probably $59.99
With a seperate release and a split component/hdmi cable, then you'd have everything that is in this new version.. except for the cooler running cpu.
I bet the firmware hack won't work on the new machine either. Microsoft knows better to release unsigned firmware this time around.

If you bought a 360 and the extended Warranty and it comes out befor that expires you can break your old 360 and buy the New one agording to the paperwork! That pic looks like a Photosho tho!

I'm sure they know about that as well and would probably marry it to some other key we don't know about yet.
Or it could just check to see if the firmware is modded by checking the signature. Unsigned = RLOD

it would be nice to have hdmi for 1080p.i don't think it would be worth buying a new system.a bigger hard drive would be more useful, especially for those that get on live.myself i still have 13.8 on mine.if it is true then why not make it a all in one with the hd drive?

Ahhh man! I was going to buy an 360 next weekend and now this crops up. TBH The only thing which interests me is the cooler CPU. My TV isnt HDMI and il never need a big Hard Drive as i wont be downloading demos/storing music/films on it. Just be there for updates. Ohwell, il buy one and hope it breaks within the year lol.

First of all the 120GB HDD would work with the V1-360, as for HDMI, well its nice but MS has already said it will be changing the firmware to allow 1080p VGA.(thats presuming all this isn't fake!)
You are reading a mindless signature, please stop reading it now it is mindless, one can only presume you are mindless since you are still reading this mindless signature, Oh my god get a life you mindless person, whats the matter with you, dont you have a girlfreind? mindless mindless mindless

the update already came out for 1080p.the problem is that there is a handful of tvs, mainly sony that only accepts 1080p through hdmi.another thing,if this is true, how much will version 1 prices go down?

not gonna go down cause they will just stop making them. places dont really stock pile 360 so there wont need to be a price drop. if there is a price drop at all it will only last a week or so during the trans. and when they sell out of ver. one than thats that. I think that the new ones will be more so that when they do finally make a price drop they can drop it to the current price and be making more money than they would have with the first one.
