I bought a flip top for my ps2. When i put it on my ps2, it doesnt always work. I recently had it on and when i played ncaa 07 it worked fine, but when i tried to play another game it would give me a disk read error or if it did load the game, it would be laggy and slow. i can hear a clicking sound, like the disk is bouncing around inside. i have replaced the white disk with the original ps2 part. any other options?!?! thats

You can try standing the PS2 upright (vertically)

are you sure the top isn't too tight? it's a common problem. (i replaced the white disc that came w/ mine w/ the factory one.) but the most common problem for well problems, is the lid being screwed on too tightly.
