Just picked up my third psp from a local best buy and down/upgraded to 3.03 oea. Anyone notice that the newer psp's have better screens?

better in the sense that the brightness is higher, and the colors are more balanced with much better contrast.

for example, my first psp's highest brightness (level 4 plugged in) is almost as bright as my latest psp (level 3 brightness). The color cast is also noticeable green on my first psp while my new one seems to be color calibrated correctly.

anyone with multiple psps notice the same thing?

i would have to say the new screens are worse. I have an original lauch day psp and a brand new one that i got and the light on the new one makes the screen looked washed out. Also i think the older psp has better color and is brighter.
