I have AnyDVD & CloneDVD2. Both fully legit, purchased through SlySoft themselves.
I may have to un-install & re-install my OS. (Windows XP)
My question is, when I open AnyDVD & look under info. Is my Serial # the same as my Reg. Key ?
I need to know so that if I un-install my OS, I don't want to lose it.
Man, I can't believe they have me listed as a SENIOR MEMBER. When I still ask many questions myself.

No, the "key" is not same as the serial #. You should have your "key" in your email saved, or even better have it also saved to a disc like Slysoft recommends. If you have lost your "keys", then email Slysoft and ask for new keys. If you purchased both programs from Slysoft, they may send the "keys to you.
Look at this thread too.

Also, this is off of Slysoft's website:

I have lost my license key. What now?
In exceptional cases we can send it to you again. It's an enormous effort for us to make a new one, thus it is really an exception. Please use our contact form for key request.
Please make a safety backup of your license key file on a floppy disk or a CD and keep it in a safe place - we cannot replace your license key if you have lost it.

No Offense, but don't you remember how you registered AnyDVD & CloneDVD 2 when you bought them? There is no typing done for this.
You just go to start>all programs>slysoft>AnyDVD>register AnyDVD and browse for the key and double click your key. Do same for CloneDVD 2. It's under Elaborate Bytes in all programs.
Please don't take any offense here. Just can't imagine forgetting this procedure.
Good Luck! Happy New Year!

Hi ;-)
For those who can't remember or are new & looking for the answer. See
[url=http://www.ultimate-DVDR.com/8222-post5.html[/url]
Whilst this is for AnyDV the process is the same for CloneDVD/CD etc.

Hi ;-)
For those who are not sure how to edit registry.
Start button > run > type "regedit" (without the quotation marks) > click OK > double click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > double click software > *(then for AnyDVD) double click Slysoft > then double click AnyDVD > then click Key.
For *CloneDVD double click Elaborate Bytes > then CloneDVD > then click Key.
N.B. These are not genuine keys, so will not work.

Hi ;-)
You can just drag & drop the whole folder onto floppy/cd/dvd. Then drag & drop into the new registry.
Having the number itself can be of use when dealing with Slysoft.
