I'm not sure what I did but I know I messed up somehow. I have an ilo DVD recorder and i love it, no problem what so ever, with recording, play back, finalizing, so you're asking what's the big deal? Well I managed to hit something I guess and not, it does all those things, I just can't see it on my TV. It's hooked up as it's always been, with a RCA Adapter thingy, with my satellite. When I switch the cables i can see my ps2 so I know it's a problem with the dvd recorder, I think it might be something the setting with the picture, but how can i fix it if i can't see it? if someone understand any of this, lol and can help I'd be very grateful.

How is the system connected
[The satellite receiver connected to the DVD and the DVD to the TV or how?]
If it worked before, it should work now. Is the proper input source on the DVD selected?
What do you mean by ?switch the cables?

Try this [to determine if it?s a DVD problem]
Connect the DVD directly to the TV at the connections that will allow watching a satellite program. [This will remove the sat receiver and anything else connected to the TV [Temporally]

Just remove the system connections from the TV and connect the Output from the DVD in Its place. - -- [The source will not matter]
Play a DVD Disk that you know is good. You should see a picture.
If the DVD is a RHD04 and has a HDD try that also

Make sure the connection cables used, are good

Thanks for responding

I tried it and nothing happened, just a bunch of static. It's all connected with a RF modulator, now that i actually look at it all.

Did you connect the DVD [Output] directly to the TV with out the modulator in line and was the correct TV [input] connection used.

If you have satellite service, Why is there a modulator in the system

Yeah I re-tried it and it still didn't work. I use the modulator because my tv doesn't have the a/v output for recording. I tried it through the satellite but i couldn't get it to work. It was just easier with the modulator.

Well as you say the system did work, as connected. I do not see using a modular
I have satellite service with the DVD connected before the TV. There are a number of ways to connect a system
I can only assume that the proper source on each unit is selected If so and you tried the DVD as I stated in a prior post than I guess the DVD is the problem.

I think it was something i might have hit in the picture setting, but I've tried disconnecting it for a couple hours, the setting on the tv, even the channel you see it on, nothing that i've tried works,
