I've tried to backup my copy of the usual suspects, and when i go to test it, it jumps to the special features, no movie at all.

I am using ripit4me w/ all the goodies, and i THINK i ripped it as "movie + menus" but i cant remember. has anyone back'd up this movie without the problem im having?

Yes backed it up - nothing special on this one - older movie (but a good one).
Movie and menu should have been okay.

Check the folder where Shrink ripped the movie and see if the whole movie is there.
