yo, yo yo guys i believe all of y'all but this 1 iz smart 2 ask, could .cso PSP game files be played on a version 3.03??? Can u then copie the .iso game for example my need for speed MW through the PSP manager and convert it to a .cso file and then wer would i put it on my PSP(in other words directions plz?) and would it work jus the same as if it were a .iso file?? thnx.

ok you guys are great but i dont think you covered my case? , so ,
i have a psp with firmware 2.50 and as i know i can trick it and hack it, and im very interested in running umd-rips (iso) on it , so please tell me what to do with it in order to use downloaded games, you can also write to mbvaio@hotmail.com ,, thank you

ok if ur psp mobo is non TA-082 then i suggest u to downgrade eighter from 2.5(to 1.5 by using noobz dg) or from 2.71 to 1.5(by using dax dg)
then u can upgrade to 3.03OE and then u can play .iso or .cso with out any extra efforts(i meant devhook)
plse search afterdawn and u'll find a lots of threads abt dg(=downgrader) for ur own help&satisfy!!!

ok thanks ,, yesterday i upgraded from 2.5 to 2.71 and great , "i've used 3.03 on another psp", "3.03 is better but no iso games" ,, anyway i tried dark axel and my psp does it's game logo start and then error 85... something , so i need another way cause its not working this way
ps: my psp doesn't have any numbers on the motherboard at the umd slot so it should work ,, right??!! , thanks

which dark alex one are u using???if ur psp mobo is non TA-082 then u have all the advantages(full)!!!!and did u downgraded ur psp to 1.5???and then if u r in 1.5 u can go to 3.03OE-B which is way lot better then official sony v3.03(mark tht)!!!!!!!!good luck!!!

ok , if the question was intended for me ..
im using firmware 2.71 right now and i cant start the applications on it cause it says corrupted data or error 80024 something .. and its devhook 0.44 , so step bystep can anyone tell me why its so mest up??? thanks

ok thnx for the info Mark91!!!u cant use devhook .44 or 3.03OE directly from 2.71!for devhook u need to use HEND and prx devhook
from here http://www.dark-alex.org/ !and to upgrade ur psp to 3.03OE u need to downgrade to 1.5 first!!!here is the downgrader http://downgrader.lan.st/ but these r not easy downgraders so dont execute before understanding the readme.txt/instructions!!!!find the easy one ur self plse!!!

again thanks , after reading your answer i felt sure it was going to work this time cause you wrote down everything in detail , but i was wrong, it starts the app. with the psp logo loding game screen , then -"the game could not be started 8002041", i think ill never be able to dg or upgrade to 3.03oe-b,
