got my 360 modded. took the chip off due to e 65 error. my drive wont open or anything. it gets to the 360 splash screen then gives me the error. so i was wondering if there is a way i can recover the firmware off my drive still or no? i have a extra drive i could use but i need the firmware

hook it up to your pc sata and see if you can access the dvd drive.

use xtreme 5.2, then you can do a

mtkflash r /sata orig.bin

if this works then you will have the firmware on that broken dvd rom drive.

do i need to be able to open the drive inorder to get the firmware? or no? and where can i find a tut for samsung drive?
