I dont think that it is a rip off as long as it is truly a full 8gb and has a decent read/write speed. You would probably spend that much if you were to buy 8 one Gb sticks.

Mines was only around 309.46 with a 1gb stick and ATV Offroad fury and the movie I dont remember. Its cheaper for 4 2GB sticks, its around 50$ normal price and at christmas a couple weeks back they went for 35 - 45$ You save a whooping 100 $ or so
