I keep reading about how you can seem edit to do stuff like make your phone quad band and stuff. How is this possible? Are all those features there(the hardware and software) just not enabled? I just dont see how you can just enable all this stuff except if its all there just not enabled.

Yes, all of those features are already on the phone, just not enabled. This is mainly Verizon's doings if not completely theirs. Seem editing is not very difficult either. It might be to some, but thanks to the guide at www.hacktherazr.com, which includes a complete video guide also, it becomes very easy for almost anyone to do.

I have P2KTools and its pretty easy. I even used it to make a custom shutdown sound that says "im not dead, I feel happy*thud*"(from monty python) and the phone shuts off when he gets hit. Lol.
