Use Alcohol 120% and choose Safedisc 2 datatype profile to burn (RAW DAO) at 8x. Depending upon the brand name of your cd burner will determine if you need emulation to play your backup. There are sticky threads on how to backup Safedisc 2.8.x (guides) as you enter CD-R.

Use the latest Blindwrite Suite 4.5.4 and after installing dump the image using "alternative read method" and choose nibble and read at 16/20x. After you've dumped the image open the Blindwrite burn wizard>general settings and enable enhance weak sectors Burn DAO pw at 8x and play the backup in your burner
