Hello MCCRASH,
I need your divine assistance with my mums nokia 6101, i bought it as a xmas present as a pay-as-you-go phone thinking that she could just put her prepaid sim into it. Alas it will not accept the simcard.
The phone is locked to the irish company called meteor, and i was wondering would you be able to make the phone simfree so as her original sim from O2 will work in it.
The phone is a NOKIA 6101 Type RM-76
IMEI: 352729013589013
I have been to a few websites already who claimed they could unlock the phone and as a result have wasted 3 attempts at the unlock code.
I would be grateful for any assistance

I entered the code it said "restriction cannot be undone" i think, it flashed up and dissappeared
Any other sugguestions

i tried the o2 sim in the phone, it asked for the pin number which i entered and then it put a message on the screen saying phone restricted with an option to undo at the bottom which leads to it asking for a restriction code

Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
Press the UNDO option
You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
Enter the code given and then press (OK)

it did not work, it said phone restricted.
So i turned it off and on again and it is still offering the undo option again.
Any other codes or tips.
Could i give you any other info on the phone that may help.

This also applies to 6101's and 6102's that show (phone restrictions on)
This means that your phone is hardlocked to the original provider and it will only work with the original provider.
The only way to unlock your mobile is to take / send it to a professional unlocker or a shop that offers a direct unlocking service.

Sorry that did not work, do you recommend those pay websites.
Any other codes i could try. What are you doing to generate those codes. are you using some form of nokia calculator or something like it. Thanks for you help

Dont mention it.
But imnot recommended pay websites.Its only link with info.And i havnt bonus from paywebsites,but this site-link-i mean,is OK.
