Is there any chance that M$ would try and release a firmware ban with the new maps that are coming out? I know it seems unlikely as that would mean they are hoping that ever firmware modder plays Gears, but I was just wondering.

No I'm sure there won't be... I mean it is possible but, EXTREMELY UNLIKELY LIKE .0001% chance.

For Xbox Live. I'm guessing you'd just download them through XBox MarketPlace.
