kk so i hav been outdated for like 3 weeks, n i want to know 2 things shud i keep my original 1.5 psp running devhook0.51 or update to 3.02 Oe-b? i want to know the good n bad between the 2. let say i went to 3.02EO-b can i go bac to original 1.5?
and 2nd question is the new ta-082 downgrader, once i downgrade to 1.5 do i have to use the 3.02 OE-b and HEND or can i use devhook 0.51?

i prefer 3.03 oe-b...just think of all the space you wont be wasting by having devhook, in other words you can bigger games

i am currently on 3.03 OE B firmware and i was a 1.50 freak but i say that the one im using now is way better:
Pros:
*plays psp iso from xmb menu
*plays psx games
*has internet browser
*has visualization for you mp3
*plays just about anything thats 1.50
*could play AVC mp4 at a higher resolution
*psp camera ready
*RECOVERY mode to go back to 1.50 if unhappy
*wma ready for music
cons:
*.....haven't really ran into anything yet
so thats what i think

and i also forgot to mention that the 3.03 OEB fw is capable of handling the new 8 gb stick coming out in feb.

1) Update to 3.02 oe-b, its the best there is out now.
2) You don't have to go back to 1.5 already since this already let u emulate everything 1.5 does plus more, plus you don't have to go through devhook to access games.
3) You can use recovery mode to get back to fw 1.5 anytime you want.
4) Once you downgrade to 1.5, juz upgrade to 3.02 oe-a first than oe-b.

hmm ok so i guess all we are doin is gettin a 1.5 psp to perma emulater 3.02 unlike devhook where if i want to switch games i hav to go thru the whole process rite? and 2nd can anyone answer the downgrade question?

Basically after you downgrade to 1.5 you only need to upgrade to 3.02 Oe-b. Unless you wanna use cwcheat, devhook/hend is kinda useless already.

kk i got the 3.02 but now how do i go back to 1.5 cuz i find out thereis 3.03 so i want to take out all the 3.02 stuff n then reformat my memory stick for the 3.03 how do i do it now?

you just simply have to download 3.03 fw update eboot + 1.5 fw update eboot + 3.03 oe-A and follow instructions given. After that just update to 3.03 0e-b.

kk well i went from 1.5 to 3.03Oeb in 1 step so but now i am missing the recovry folder for 3.03 OE b anyone know where is it?

Definitely install 3.02oe-b, devhook sucks. oe-b lets you play most game ISOs without a UMD. Your PSP boots up directly into the oe-b firmware. If you have devhook, you gotta turn on the PSP, wait for game/movie to load, exit and boot up into 1.5, then boot up into devhook, then run the game. What a hassle!

just wanted to say thanks , i will be upgradeing my 2.8 psp to 3.03 0E-b instead of 1.5 , i was in debate for a while which is better

i was the same, i loved my virgin 1.5 but the temptation of psx games oooooooo lol, but i eventually gave in and updated and i really like it

I've had a 1.50 since May 2005 until a few weeks ago. 3.03 OE-B is just flat out better plus you get to play PSX games to boot.
