okay.i got everything working now.i got the 3.03 OE-b working fine.if i have to i can go back to 1.50,now the next step i need help on/or a guide.i believe that i need homebrew to put games on my memory stick and run them off my Memstick.so can someone help me with this please.im kinda stuck.

ms0:\ISO <-- put games in that created folder. Homebrew goes in mso:\PSP\GAME and make sure your config in recovery is set to use 1.5 kernal.

okay i just downloaded this game Tony Hawks Project 8 for the psp.
i extracted the files n things and it says iso but when i extracted that one(cause its like a zipped file in a zipped file) this is what was in it..


1.UMD_DATA
Folder Called-PSP_GAME/SYSDIR/EBOOT (Bin File)
()USRDIR/and it has folders that say..movies,music,streams and a HED file and a WAD file.
i made some pictures to further help anyone that can help me.

when i unzipped the THP8.rar thats what i got.
any ideas on to get this working/if i can?

theres no need to extract the iso mate....

just place the iso file into the iso folder on ur memory stick..

ok i put the ISO File..its zipped up..i put it on the psp and i went to games. then memory stick.and i hit the Need for speed icon that is there.and playing music.and it goes to the white psp intro.then it says The game cannot be started...what am i doing wrong?

first extract the rar files revealing the iso then place iso in iso folder <--------- if you done this then try changing the kernal to 1.5.

can you post a pic of the rar files then the extracted iso cos when i extract my rar files all there is is an iso or cso.
i want to see from ur side?

i also switched to kernal 1.5 and it still says The game cannot be started

ok here..umm..this is the folder that i have when i downloaded it all..

that the pic of the folder when i downloaded everything and when i click the 1st "pik-nfscu"...

that is what i see right before i am going to unzip it.
i took those two files that are named "pik-nfscu" and "ciso" and put them both into the iso folder and it was there when i looked under games,but when i try to load it all up it says The game cannot be started

before extracting anything "right click" on the first rar file and click the "extract here" option this should reveal an iso

hmmmm thats never happend to me?.

try to extract the other 2 files and check all the folders for an iso file..if there isnt 1 then u must of dwnldd a bad rip.

also make sure you have a umd in the drive not a movie though

oh wait..i take that back.i had the iso associated with WinRAR so it looked liek it was a zipped file.so when i unchecked it with WinRAR,it showed a Image File (the one that is named pik-nfscu) and that "ciso" file Zipped Up

oh dude..you are like the greatest person i have ever known to man. i read that part you said to make sure that theres a umd in the drive and i was clueless.i put my Valkyrie Profile Lenneth in there.and i started up NFS OMG dude.it works.like a dream (so i believe) i only started it up n everything thats all.dude you dont kno how gratefull i am at this moment.im so happy.ive been trying to put this thing together for like awhile now.thanks man.i really appreciate that you took the time and effort to find out what my problems where so you can help me :) thanks sooooooooo much mang!
