Anyone know of what chip or circuit board and where to get it, that i could use to hack my xbox to allow me to play burned games incase when i buy a game i make a copy of it just so in the event it gets scratched and broken i have my backup

You have to flash your firmware to play burnt games - no chip is needed. read some of the flashing tuts out there - seems to be a million of them.
