Urgent! Need help w/ VirtualDUB

Anyways, I've been on dozens of forums and so far no help.
I follow the rather vague directions to the t! I still get this error when trying to open the video only file w/ VirtualDub

Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'DIVX' (DivX 4+)
VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable.

wrong section unless this has something to do with psp.

do you have the DivX pro bundle ? most current? or just the freebie one? which should still be suffecient, but have u tried dvdrhelp.com

I'm trying to create a custom gameboot, so yeah it's PSP related.
Also, what's the link to the free DivX? I'm too cheap to pay.

Actually I'm reading one somebody posted on PSP-updates before it was removed on another site. Is the one here the one made by muratcan?

search Official Gameboot Thread (using search on this site)

u need the h.264 codec (i think that's what the thing was called) but it should all be in that thread.

it'll be the first result.
