Ok, Dell Dimension 4600, went to Dell.com, updating everything possible for my CPU.
Took my XBOX360 apart, made the connection, and never got into MobeB. Plus, I never got that "Spinning Up Disc" thing. Then, as I'm reading all the text on the screen, I noticed that I'm seeing alot of undetected, none, and failed stuff in the text. (Like... ATA1 failed, ATA2 failed, etc.)
I have the Sata cord plugged into the inside of the CPU.
Note: I'm guessing that the two SATA slots on the inside are correct.
Later, Found out in the system setup (F2 Button) that there was...
"SATA Primary Drive -> Identifies the serial ATA hard drive attached to the SATA1 connector on the system board.
&
SATA Secondary Drive ->Identifies the serial ATA hard drive attached to the SATA2 connector on the system board."
Note: I'm guessing that the system setup is my bios (if not, then I don't know how to access my bios. Please help)
So, I turned both on. Shut down and booted back up. When back to (F2), and found out that one of the SATA read CD-ROM. So, I set the CPU to boot from the Slax DVD, and the CPU freezes at the DELL LOGO. And, sometimes I'll get a... "Error OS Reading"
Note: OS means Operating System right?
I tried the Xeno Connectivity Kit, and still nothing also.
What I'm I doing wrong?
P.S. - Does all CPU's have a reset/reboot button, I have just one button to turn it off/on.
Thanks in Advance!
