3.03 oe-b video question

i have a bunch of mp4 videos on my pc encoded with 3 gp. They worked fine on psp with 2.71 se now that i have 3.03 oe-b i cannot get them to work at all. I tried the usual mproot with maq00001.mp4 what i usually do and nothing shows up. I tried making a video folder and just putting them in there and nothing. any help would be appreciated.

maq types need to go in the 100ANV01 folder. and you need to put the thm file in the video folder on the root of the stick.

i have got them in that. They were working before now that i have 3.03 for some reason they wont work

so the file thm goes in root not in 100ANV01 folder anymore?

correct the maq. file i put in the 100anv01 folder, and i put the thm file in the video folder which is on the root of the memory stick.

i've only encoded one so far using the new avc 480x272 format which i put on my mem stick using the method i mentioned above. all my old movies are are still M4V00000 which i put in the 100MNV01. i'm not sure what the problem is. sorry i couldn't be more help.

so mp4 file goes where it origionaly went and thm file now goes in psp>video or just the root

right m4v's are handled the same as they always have been, by placing them in the 100mnv01 folder. you should have a folder on the root of your mem stick labeled VIDEO. it's not inside the PSP folder but along side it. that is where the thm file would go and the maq video goes in the 100anv01 folder.

i haven't changed any of my m4v videos. i put those on my mem stick just like they are, and just like i always have. when you encode a movie using the new avc 480x272 it automatically names the video as a maq video, and creates the thm file needed.

it shows up now but it says unsupported data mine are maq vids
encoded with 3gp direct renamed avc qvga/29.97fps/384kbps stereo/128kbps

i removed the thm file from the video folder and my movie i encoded yesterday still plays. that's with the maq video in the 100anv01 folder. i guess you don't need that thm file. best advice i can give at this point would be to try re-encoding the video and see if that fixes it.

its working now i had the folder named 100mnv01 instead of 100anv01. Sometimes eh? thanks for all your help. I was ready to smash the damn thing
