today i tuned on my ps2 version 5 and the disc started spinning really fast and made a load clicking noise and the one really load click and i could hear the disk slow down and now the drive wont eject and no cds will load WHAT DO I DO!!!

The laser is bad. I'd just buy another one since it will cost around the same price just to fix it

There are 2 types of clicking. 1) is from the laser lense when it tries to read disc, it'll move up and down due to it trying to read the games which makes the clicking noise. 2) is from the laser guide arm.

To fix it, find out where the clicking noise comes from. Normally, replacing the Laser Guiding Arm would solve it. Otherwise try to replace the Motor Worm before going into buying a new laser.
