Read the files that came with 3.02 OE-B. They explain how to do this.

Almost everyone is using 3gp to convert to the PSP, the results seem to be better than almost all other encoders.

If you put videos in ms://VIDEO they should work fine once converted. (note, not ms://PSP/VIDEO)

if you can run homebrew, i prefer pmp mod avc.

some advantages inculde:

- luminousity controls
- volume boost
- saves play location (even if changing movie to movie)
- can display time/battery level without leaving movie
- movie names are normal (Aliens.pmp vs MAQ48512.mp4)
- marginally sharper image (highly debateable, but I see it in my conversions by using custom settings)
- subtitles can be imported
- multiple audio options
- can underclock psp to 120mhz to save battery life (runs 100% @ 120mhz)

those are a few features i value using pmp mod avc
