Hey Everyone,
Im fairly new to this and have a few questions. I was wondering if it was possible to play iso's of games off my memory stick without having to be connected to a pc while playing it? I have read the guides but they are all confusting, as i dont know what most of the terms mean.
Thank you in advance for any help

You have to have a router. Beyond that, IDK how to set it up.

download devhook, or upgrade to Dark Alex's 3.03 OE-B (Not from Sony)

there's a tut on devhook stickied at the top of the forum :-)

Which of the 2 is easier? I looked at the devhoot guide and it seemed pretty complicated. Which one would you do?

You can find the full install package here.

For using Isos w/ OE, it's easy:

Connect your PSP to your PC and create a NEW folder by right clicking in a blank space. Call the folder ISO in all capital letters and drop your Isos in there.

Go back out to your XMB (you can disconnect your PSP now) and look in the menu where the homebrew games usually are. You'll find your Isos. Choose one and launch it.

just be careful of homebrew like X-Flash and PSP Filer. If not used properly, they can delete crucial files and brick your PSP.

How about you search, read and learn instead of posting an endless stream of questions that have been answered a hundred times before

I did do a search as stated in my opening message, but i didnt understand what it was talking about, also stated in my opening message. I just need an easy to follow guide so i dont screw up trying to install the OE firmware. Now just to clarify, the OE fw will let me play ISO's of psp games without needing to do anything else?
