How do I swap the X & O buttons on Fireware 3.03 without Devhook?

Hi, does anyone know if its possible to swap the X & O buttons on Dark_Alexs 3.03 OE A' fireware, thats NOT running through devhook but has been installed straight to the PSP? I have a Jap PSP and the buttons being the wrong way round is driving me mad! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hold R during power on, it's in the recovery menu.
