I have the Hitachi 2120L drive v47DJ. I used Slax 2.1 with my on-board SATA (Asus P4B 800E) to get to mode b. That worked great. Then I rebooted to Windows (using Vista). I tried to use Maximus 360 Firmware Update, but that kept giving me read errors... so I went to the Maximus-Gayyopa_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_3_stealth_rev2. To see what was going to happen, i ran a restore and it worked great. I then ran flash23S. It looked like the backup succeeded then it started flashing. at step 3, it just hung there.
Here is the output:

Then it just hung there.. I waited about 20 minutes and nothing was happening...
I rebooted and ran the restore. It worked and it looks like the 360 is back to working order.
Does anyone know what I should do to update the firmware? I am pretty nervous about trying it again.
Thanks!
