can't burn xbox360 games on verbatim dvd+r dl and with pioneer 111d

i am having trouble burning xbox360 games onto verbatim DVD+R DL with pioneer 111d, burning xbox1 games on single layer (to play on xtreme 5.2) work fine.
so pretty weird it doesn't work with the double layer discs.
it just goes from 0 to 100% in 2 seconds, and says it has failed. it does that in all burning programs, clonecd, img burn, Nero and xbox backup creator..
hope someone can help.

not to make you sound stupid or anything.....but which file are you attempting to burn? the .000 or the .dvd file? only asking becuase when i burned my first game i picked the wrong file, and it did the same exact thing.

wait, it should be called image.dvd, when saving the notepad file, right?
or should i name it the same name as the iso?

hi, maybe i can help here but first i need to know a little about the hardware your using, what dvd rom are you reading from?
are you trying to create a copy from a already copied dvd or an original
make sure you have the latest firmware for the 111d, i use the same drive to burn but i have the flashed samsung korean firmware drive to read the disk and make the image
i was having problems burning a copy but an original copied fine using xbox backup creator
i now use clone cd to create the image and imgburn to write the disk, both copies and original copies burn fine now
ps make sure while burning that you go no faster than 2x or it will skip writing

im having same problem tried using clone to read and write but fails within 2 secs
and using image burn
this is what happens in img burn:-

well first of all, unless you are a copying and allready copied game, clonecd will not read the game at all. you need to use like scrhtrom or XBC to read the game. so that might be why it wont read it, but as to why it wont burn it, i am not sure.

what 2 drives are you using, if you post and tell me what kind of game(original or copy) you are trying to copy i can help you
you need the flashes samsung drive to copy originals

i will try and go into detail here as to how i copy a copied game
i am using a flashed samsung korean firmware dvd rom to read the disk, a pioneer 111d writer to burn
firstly i create a file on my desktop and name the file to the game im copying so assume im copying cod3
i have a file named cod 3 on my desktop
i open clone cd version 5.3.0.1 and click on read image to file
select my dvd rom
insert cod3
then select the file by using browse to locate the cod3 file on the desktop
dont put any name at the bottom in the file, mine says image by default
click on read image to file
click ok
the image will now read and transfer to the file you selected on the desktop(cod3)
once its finished reading close clone cd
i use imgburn for the burn
simply select the file from the browse for file and it should come up with something like this
c:\...\desktop\cod3\IMAGE.dvd
make sure your burner is selected and insert a blank dual layer
uncheck test and verify
MAKE SURE YOUR SPEED IS 2X AND NO FASTER (VERY IMPORTANT)
once its selected your media click write
about half an hour later a working copy of call of duty 3 will pop out the tray !
its much easier to copy an original but thats how i do a copy
some people use clone cd to burn but i found imgburn to work fine for me
if it dosent work you might need to set the ylayer break in imgburn yourself which is easy to do aswell

download schtrom 3.0 or 3.1. or download xbox creator, and use either of those two programs to copy an image onto your computer. otherwise it wont work correctly. once that is done, now use clonecd or image burn to burn the game. if you use imageburn you will have to manually set the layer break in the settings to a specified setting. cant remember what is exactly, but i can find out later if u decide to use this program.

1913760 is the layer break code
enter is by going into imgburn and then tools/settings/write and set it to user specified and enter the code
xbox backup creator wont back up copied games by the way

yea figured it wouldnt do a copied game. but he never did state if he was copying an origonal, or an allready backed up game. if its a straight 1:1 copy, then clone, or Nero or DVD Decrypter or anything of that sort will do a copy of it just fine.

i am trying to backup a copy
i use verbs and datawrite but dosent copy.
it has to be something on pc or the pioneer drive
some kind of settings must be wrong somewhere as it would write but not play.
in both imgburn and clone pioneer spits disk out after 2/3 secs
youll never walk alone
