hi
i have mistakenly bought a sat dbox2 but wanted a cable one to replace the broken dbox i already had.
could any one tell me if it would work with cable if i changed the tuner over from my old box, as it was the processer that had gone on that one

I think in theory it would. Some of the images I've come across appear to be compatible with both cable and sat - they have options to scan different satellites etc. That tells me the only difference between the two variations is in fact the tuner..

Where can i buy the sat dbox-2, I was given i cable dbox-2 but i am contracted to sky and have 5 monthes left on my contract. Wot would you guys recomend, should i wait the 5 months out or buy a sat dbox.

Sky via sat is not cracked.
There is no box on the market which can give you sky via satellite for free.
