http://www.ripit4me.org/guide.html RI4M should be able to handle it as well. I've not got a copy of Saw 3 yet. I don't have access to early sales. But I've done full discs of some of Sony's most difficult. I'll know for sure next week. ;)

Good for you! I have been trying to back this movie up with no success at all (shrink, clone 2, etc.) Exactly what did you do to make it work?

@LynJuly29, If you have the latest CloneDVD2 2.9.0.3 then you alos need RipIt4Me, in Combination with DVD Decrypter. These three made my back up possible.:P

Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

@LynJuly29 you don't need Clone 2.9.0.3 if you use Ripit4me should load just fine in DVD Shrink.

Guess you missed my post just before his. But that's okay. LOL As long as it gets done.
I got my Saw 3 DVD yesterday and with RI4M it was easy. The rip took about 5 minutes longer than usual, but it had 99 VTS and Decrypter had to put in a lot of dummy sectors. Once ripped with RI4M just about any transcoder or encoder will finish the backup. For a quick copy I used DVDCopy 5, but I'll encode it later with RB/CCE.

Was that for movie only or did you get the full DVD. Some people said they could only do movie only.

You're welcome LynJuly29, Yeah PacMan777 did suggest that RipIt4Me should work with SAW III, though I used an unorthodox method by bypassing the suggested use of DVD Shrink 3.2 or FixVTS and used CloneDVD2 2.9.0.3 instead.;P Yeah they're more tough encryptions coming down the pike, got a few more new releases loaded with Arccos from hell.:P
Oh, I asked that members be clear as to what exactly they're getting with just AnyDVD & CloneDVD which is "Movie Only" unless you are using ClonDVD2 2.0.9.3 as one forum member suggest which is to remove partcular bad sectors which the member listed at the beginning of the thread titled "the saw III".:p
After reading so many threads it would be nice if most members did a small and I mean small search for SAW III threads and he or she would find that most issues with SAW III were written about and addressed last week for quite a few of us who purchased this title early (One of the few inner city perks).
