if you want more verification, then do a little searching in the forums. there is about 30 threads with the same topic. and he is correct, you are safe.

I have done research in forums but all Ive found is people asking about 360 games and live. I was only concerned because last time I checked (and this could be wrong) going on xbox live with the original xbox1 games on a regular xbox does get you banned.

Well the only reason for that, was because people were modding the games, when playing online. I play Halo 2 online on my 360, and it's fine. There should be know problems when playing xbox 1 games on the 360 online.

as DavGerm said, the only reason people were getting banned on the origonal xbox was due to modding the gameplay. especially with halo. they would mod the the online play to exploit the maps and weapons, ect, anything to make it easier for them to win and move up the ranking ladder. and if microsoft were to just start banning everyone that went onto LIVE with an origonal xbox console and game then they would have one massive law suit being thrown at them.
