this is the UK Family Picture Edition (3rd Edition)
I've ripped this DVD to hard disk with AnyDVD and DVD Decrypter.
The game plays OK on the hard drive till the £2000 question then the buttons 'freeze'.

Anybody know what protection is used on this disc?
I thought it might be just that it is looking for the DVD in the drive, but don't want to burn it to a dual layer (too costly to make mistakes with)

Any help or comments greatly appreciated.

PS I do own the original and (believe it or not) am genuinely trying to make a backup, as I had a hell of a carry on when my PC version went faulty and Eidos wanted the full price to replace it!
