SID 4.0 vs. Older versions of SID

I got SID 2.0, and everything is working fine, some games that i've copied onto my xbox HD freeze up, but I usually thought it was due to bad copies. Just wondering if there's a point to using a new softmod, or changing. Is it just the installer works better, or is it a better dashboard with SID 4.0? Is it worth the trouble?

I dont use SID but the reason for updated verions is bugs are worked out and new things are added in each time if i where u i would up grade i heard the sid 4.0 is pretty good and its really not that much work just install the soft over youre previous one or be safe and uninstall it before putting the new one in
