Hi guys i have a question.I backed up my copy of TCM The Beginning using Ripit4me,even though i didnt need to use it.But it when i went to burn it,it failed after a little way through. So i backed it up again using DVDFab,and it burned fine all the way through.I seemed to have the same problem with The Descent.I'm using Verb's btw.Any ideas why that would happen? Thanks.

Hi pholmes31
Firmware up to date on the burner? How about the speed you're burning at?

If you have Nero and using that to burn w/ Shrink - post the last log you can find them here:
For Nero 6 - program files>ahead>nero>nerohistory
For Nero 7 - program files>nero>nero 7>core>nerohistory

Just be sure to edit out the serial # - usually begin w/ 1A, 1C or 5C.

I found my log history, but i don't think it would be my last log since i've burned others after that successfully. Also i coudnt find anything in the logs where it said the burning failed, they all said completed successfully.I may be lost.

Go ahead and post the last one if you like even though it was successful.
Can still have some info that may be useful.

Yep you got the right one and serial # gone too.

Ok here's a few suggestions:
Nero can use an update - update to 6.6.0.18. Here's a link.

Recorder: <_NEC DVD_RW ND-3520A> Version: 1.04
Can use a firmware update - the latest is 3.07.

Physical memory : 510MB
Free physical memory: 127MB
Memory in use : 75 %

Might want to free up some memory when burning - 75% is in use. So close any unneeded programs and no multitasking.

No seek complete
A few things for this error can be media, firmware not up to date, dirty/dusty lens on the burner or poor power.
Using good media but the firmware can use an update so that may be the cause.
If it still happens after that then use a lens cleaner on the burner or blow some canned air to try and clean it out.

Book Type setting not supported for the loaded disc type
May not be playing into this but for -R discs have Nero set to automatic or physical format in the booktyping option.

Give that a go and let us know.
