Hey im just wondering if my profile can be a diffent name then my gamertag? Ex: Profiles name: Example, Gamertag name: Example225599

to make it more clear can i have an account with a gamertag linked to it but when i go on live my gamertag will be my gamertag and my profile will be my profile?

yep just make a new profile or take the hard drive off the xbox and restore to factory defaults and it will ask you to make a new one
