Watching Movies in HIGH DEFINITION is a good thing, but no gaming compatibilities for it, but maybe in the future it'll change, who knows.

doesnt the xbox 360 put out HIGH DEFINITION games?thats what i got goin on lol..so 200 just to watch movies in hd nice lol...thanks

That's exactly what it's for... watching movies. You can spend $200 for this or $500 for a stand alone. Which would make more sence?

For me it's neither right now, but obviously the HD-DVD add on is a good deal for 360 owners looking for an HD-DVD player.
