does this Pioneer burn 360 games ?

Hi guys,

I have Pioneer DVD-180 which burns DL dvds but a friend of mine told me that only Pioneer DVR-111D burns 360 games.
Is that true? Do you think mine can burn 360 games?

thats not the only drive that will burn games, any dual layer will if yours burns DL your fine

thx for the fast reply,

Actually my cousin is the one, who has the DVD-180 and I was hoping that I could burn my games with his dvd-burner but the thing is that my friend told me that burning 360 games with that dvd burner will not make the games work on the 360. He said that only the pioneer 111d can burn 360 games successfully. However, after what you just said, I guess my burner, which is a LG GSA-4163B can burn 360 games too, am I right?

I know this is a stupid topic but I bought the 360 not long ago, so I'm really new to this stuff and logically I do believe that any DL burner should do the job. However, I'm afraid of trying my luck....DL dvds are expensive , you know :)

Yes yours can burn the games! I have the 111d and it is so easy to burn the games! that is why people like it so much!

I am not sure if your LG will work! If you don't want to risk it you can get a 111d from new egg for 30 bucks!

oh nice, if my cousin's dvd burner can burn 360 games then it doesn't me much if I can't burn games with my LG.

using dangerous brothers firmware, I changed my dvr 111d to a dvr111L it actually seems to burn beter than before
it may be a bitsetting issue
