3.03 won't run ps1 games.

I am currently running 3.03 and when i load any ps1 game it tells me "to run this game you must first activate the system" i have been looking for a few days now and have found no help can anyone tell me what my options are? Thanks so much in advance.

its 3.03 then and u have to hook it up to a ps3 then confirm u bought it it is so you dont play the psx games for free pretty much thats why homebrew is the best

so you can't play any PSX games you download from the internet, only games you download through the PS3

so theres nothing i can do about my downloaded ps1 games. do you have to activate them all individually or is it a one time activation type thing. and theres no way to install the homebrew update either?

you can't download a ps1 game for your psp EXCEPT FROM A PS3.
you can't play homebrew.
if it wasn't the official firmware like if it was 3.03 OE-B (Custom Firmware) Then u could do homebrew, and downloaded ps1 games.

You got 2 choices , wait 4 the next downgrade (which could take a bit)or sell your psp and buy a 1.5 psp from ebay lol other wise u cnt do shit

Currently, no dude. :( Just be patient though, the psp homebrew community has a hand full of extremely talented devs.

No, you have to buy them from the Sony store via your PS3.
However, breaking news is that all 3.03 owners should be able to downgrade soon thanks to a new exploit found. Though you will need the use of an unpatched GTA:LCS UMD

Fuck just sold my 3.03 and brought a 1.5 from ebay lo :( just my luck
