Firstly sorry for this topic . (i know that there are a lot of topic for downgrading but are lost somewhere in the forum.)[ I read them almost all!! but nothing!!]

I followed in detailed the guide [url=http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/downgrade_psp_2.cfm][/url]for downgrading my psp to 1.50 Version but NOTHING can anyone help me? is there any problem with my psp??

I assume your motherboard is not TA-082.

I recommend that u upgrade to 2.8 firmware. Then use the easy downgrader. USE AT RISK! Read the readme for instructions

does it says on ur left side or right side? if it is left then u can use the downgrader I put in. USE AT RISK

You're trying to downgrade a 2.01 using a method designed for 2.0 which is why it doesnt work.

You'll need to upgrade it first. Here's the 2.71 fw upgrade and 2.71 downgrader :

If your PSP says IC6001 then its fine ! :)

Ive done 9 PSPs with files from the link I posted. No probs at all.

Most bricked PSPs come from people not knowing what they're doing. Ive heard of bricks from most downgraders yet Ive never had any probs.

Now upgrade your 1.5 to 3.03OE-B

Here's a little collection of PSP downgrades / upgrades I put together :

Ive used these exact files on 9 PSPs and had 9 successful with no probs, but Ive been going to 3.02OE-A first then to 3.03OE-A then to 3.03OE-B.

Download the files and extract. Get the 3.02.rar file and extract the 302_BASIC_Installer_150.exe. Use that to update to 3.02 OE-A....the files will Auto Install for you.

Once thats done delete the contents of PSP/GAME folder. Then create a folder called GAME150 in the PSP folder and put the contents of the 3.03 Auto Installer.rar in the GAME150 folder. Run that update.

Once thats done delete the contents of the GAME150 folder and put the 2 folders from 3.03OE-B.rar into the GAME150 folder. Run that update and you're done.

how risky is it?
do i have to go to 3.03OE-A then OE-B?
can i go back to 1.5 if i dislike it?
and that recovery thing, does it stop my psp from bricking ?

exevio, did the update finish? If you decided to turn it off in the middle, you probably bricked the psp. What firmware do you have right now?

1.It is only risky if u put the files in wrong order. That is why they made a read me text. READ IT!

2. Not sure, but it doesn't matter because 3.03 OE-A to OE-B takes few seconds.

3. Yes, you go back to 1.5 by using recovery

4. It does stop from psp being brick.
