Hi i am a little confused lads as i am not that clued up on all this,i have just bought a 360 and have a sony lcd tv monitor which is hd ready so i can run it in 1080i or 720p which is better? Also my monitor does have a vga input so would it be better to buy a hd vga cable or should i stick with the component cable what come with the 360?

720p is way better than 1080i

Formula :

1080i = 540p
1440i = 720p

U can tell 720p is way better than 1080i

It is TV dependant. On my TV, 1080i is better.
