i appreciate that at the moment the only way to run ps1 games on the psp is with 3.03 offical in conjunction with a ps3

do you think sony will enable us somehow transfer our ps1 discs to our psp. or download them without a ps3

Ouch ripper, good find. And also you could also use Alchol 120 and rip them as iso's and use any popstation to make the EBOOTS. The choice is yours and yours alone.
