Don't upgrade until you check what firmware it already has.
Chances are you may need to download it to 1.5 first.
But there are a few checks you NEED to make before tampering with the firmware (ie. is it a TA-082, 086 motherboard?).
If the current firmware is 2.81 or above you cannot, an should not, change it yet.
on 1.5, u just place the homebrew files in PSP ->> GAME, and in 3.03 u create a folder called GAME150 in the PSP folder and put ur homebrew in there. in 3.03, it can be 1.0 homebrew or 1.5 homebrew, it doesn't matter

so what do you do with the emulator?
cus i downloaded a Snes Emulator it shows up on my memory stick but when i click x is sez game cant be loaded or something of that nature.
unless u change something on the recovery mode about the 1.5 Kernal access.
You put the emulator on the GAME_150 folder. If u dont have a that folder on your PSP, then create one. And also make a GAME_303. If u still dont get then get install-o-tron.
Wow ok....For any 1.50 homebrew there should be 2 folders one with a % and one without. Take those 2 folders and stick them into the GAME150 that you make within the root. That should solve it.
