Need Help Running Some Games on 3.03 OE-B

I need help running some games on my PSP. I can play some games like Tekken: Dark Ressurection and Dragonball Z Shin Budokai, but I can't play some such as Metal Gear: PO and Monster Hunter (Just loads and black screen forever). I also need help running Yugioh Tag Force; it hangs when you try to duel anyone. Can some one please please help me.

ps. Is it true that having a UMD in the drive helps?

Settings in Recovery Mode: 3.03 OE-B PSP

Configuration>
Skip SCE logo: Disabled
Hide corrupt icons: Disabled
Game folder homebrew: Currently 1.50 Kernel
Autorun program at /PSP...: Disabled
Use NO-UMD: Enabled
Fake region: Disabled
Free UMD Region: Enabled

Advanced>Advanced configuration>
Plain modules in UMD/ISO: Disabled
Execute BOOT.BIN in UMD/ISO: Disabled
Use isofs driver also in UMD-inserted mode:Disabled

Well first disable Dont use UMD. That should solve most of your problems. Come back it that does not.

I get a "The game could not be started. (80020321)" When I set "Use NO-UMD" to disable.

Make sure you have a UMD in the drive and that you have the games in the correct folder. The iso's should be in the ISO folder at the root.

I don't own any UMDs...is that the problem? Would a movie UMD or any UMD work (discounted $9.99 ones)?
