Don't know if ne1 knows (or has come accross) this but I could do with a few ideas as to why...

DVDShrink beta3 seems to scroll the top of the picture, only the top few lines where the film meets the black lines (don't know their technical name) at the top of the screen. Mostly irrelevant I know but its like discolouration on ur screen once you know its there ur eyes seem to be drawn to it.

I hope someone can explain why this is happening or whether it's the compression I'm using.

Thanks

Oh and does anyone have any experirence dealing with dvdsontap I'm about to sign up for their service and I'm wondering if they're cool :) (Thanks again)

I think it is because they have been re-encoded in letter box mode to save space on the disc. Letter box movies can use a lot of the picture and waste space. This may be v3.0's way of getting more on to a 4.7GB disc.

So dvdshrink has re-encoded into the letterbox format? It still has the black bars at the top and the bottom of the screen, the only bar thats moving is the top one. I'm a bit stumped on this one guys :(

Thanks

Also have you had any dealings with dvdsontap it seems too good to be true tbh...

WindowsXP, I don't know what causes the problem you described, but rest assured that DVD Shrink does not change the format of the title(s). ;)
