Hello I am currently running Firmware 3.03 on my PSP, I was wondering if I can upgrade as I have no luck so far. I did have Firmware 2.71 and did manage to get it down to 1.5, but in order to Play UMD games it has to upgrade to version 2.00.
After hours of research it seemed that Firmware 3.03 was the best to upgrade to, but now what ever I try I can't seem to upgrade firmware, I have installed version 2.71 and it wont update because Iit says have 3.03 and their is no need???

Also once I have dowload PSP games files, where do I put these on my memory stck? As the games see to come in different files. All I want to do is play recent games via the memoey stick, does this mean I need a homebrew application?

I have been working on this for 4 days, any pointers or advice would be great. Thanks

ouch... you used to have 1.5 but now have upgraded to 3.03?

thats a shame, can't do jack on 3.03 except buy a ps3 to play psx games. you're gonna have to wait a long, long time for a downgrader again.
