Okay ive been reading here about the saw 3 having all sorts of protection on it, so I went and bought it today havent seen it though. Anyways I tried using DVDFab the new beta thats out for the SAW3 well it couldn't even recognize the disk. Couldnt get AnyDVD with clone DVD to back it up eighter. So I tried using that new program RIPIT4ME at first I wanted to make a full backup so I could take it to my cousins house, but after it ripped and opened on DVDShrink the movie didnt start from the begining it was like halfway. The only way I was able to back it up was using RIPIT4ME with the oneclick wizard with the option that has MOVIE+MENU only so I was assed out on all the special features which I wanted. Ive read alot of the posts concerning the saw 3 but none have specific details on how they made a full backup. Most have these type of post that say "ANYDVD + DVDCLONE made backup uuuhhhhh HOW??" If anyone can make a detailed description on how they made it even if its like 100steps post 4 ALL OF US

ok everybody, follow these steps and you will have the FULL DVD!!
menues, extras, warnings, previews, everything.
1)turn off AnyDVD
2)use ripit4me (newest version)
3)open in rip it for me, takes 1 hour to encode, *** SAVE THE FILE TO YOUR HARD DISK C !!!***
4)when done, pull the folder from hard disk to your DESKTOP.
5)open clone dvd2 (KEEP ANY DVD OFF) broose your files to have clone read the saw 3 from your desk top.
6) and in 34 min you will have a full backup.
PLEASE RESPOND TO ME IF YOU HAD LUCK.

i got it to work with ripit4me + dvdclone. AnyDVD + dvdclone wouldn't work for me. neither did dvdfab - that didn't recognize the disk. did a whole backup with menus

sorry i meant clonedvd2 instead of dvdclone. backed up everything in the unrated version - menus, special features, etc. i have the newest version of clonedvd2 - 2.9.0.3. ripit4me was the only program that worked for me for the rip part.

I have RipIt4Me(the newest version) along with FixItVTS and CLONEDVD2 and when I burn the whole DVD to the VIDEO_TS folder, it says that there are 99 blank VOBS and deletes them, am I doing something wrong.....I know I can just get the movie only but I heard that you some of you got the whole DVD and I just want to be sure that I'm doing it right.

I got 1 more question, when I'm using RipIt4Me, do I want to turn off FixVTS and just open up CLONEDVD2 after?
Thanks for the help.

garydv,
RipIt4Me won't let me keep AnyDVD on while its ripping the DVD. And when I get to FixVTS it deletes those 99 blank VOB's(7GB's worth) and I'm left with an all but empty folder.

don't keep AnyDVD running when you are using ripit4me. i used ripit4me for the first time today and the fixvts part of it went on automatically. be sure that the fixvts is up to date too. just watched my backup just now and it played perfectly (with the extras too)

Yeah, so it seems everyone is getting the hang of burning Saw 3. I ripped the full disc but without checking fixVTS and i had erros. So I Re Ripped it just using the movie only and clicked fixVTS on, and it worked. SO i can just imagine if I checked on the fixVTS for the full backup, it would work.

I finally got Saw 3 to burn with everything included. But the route I took was a little different. I uninstalled DVD Shrink, Decryptor, RipIt4Me(Including FixVTS) and reinstalled them in the order of which they were uninstalled and popped in Saw 3 and it worked flawlessly.
