No but my son's did that as well. So I flashed with 5.2a and everything works perfect. M28 btw

I don't know but since all my backups are on Verbatim I decided to go with A after I previously flashed with B. I was actually testing whether or not A would work for me, it did and no more grinding noise.

Mine does this with 5.2A, I think my drive prefers B versions so I might reflash it

this is so queer!!
i flashed with 52c and the noise just got louder but it was less rough.
then i flashed it with 52b and now it just shutup!! so wierd!!!!

any idea it was i just want to know so that the next time it flash it.
