My screen freezes! Help me Please!

Whenever I start up my xbox it just freezes, I tried to soft mod it earlier and I left so I turned it off..Now it is like stuck.. I know nothing about this stuff..I really don't but I do know before I let I formatted all of the drives (I think that is where I messed up at!!) Someone please help me Help da Noob plz!
