Hey everyone, I am new to Xbox 360 and wanted to know what brands of media have worked for all of you. In my research, Verbatim DVD+R DL media seems to be the most popular, but I cannot find this in any of my local stores. I'd like to find out if anyone has had luck with other brands before I place an online order for Verbatim media. I have a Pioneer DVR-109 if it matters. Thank You!

I've used Imation and Verbatim and they both work great.

verbatim is the best, all has worked for me 100%.

you can order this at www.microcenter.com

at times, you can purchase a rim of 20 for $29 + shipping.

just keep an eye open for the sale again.

Or BestBuy has this for sale $29 this past weekend. hurry to BestBuy, maybe they still have the sale.

Use Lite-On American, I have very good luck with it.

and use cloneCD burn @8x

I use verbatim and never ever have issues. I always burn at the lowest speed even though it akes like 40 minutes for the burn. I think burning at that speed allows your computer to handle the data transfer better (less coasters) plus I think the burn is a bit deeper - but I am not sure if that is the case.

i have been burning at 2.4x, but then changed it to 8x because my xbox 360 keeps locking up on certain backup games.

so based on my experience of burning games. use your judgement and what works best for you.

You will get burn errors only if you have a cheap dvd burner and media. otherwise, it works for me.
