Ok so I have read the stickies and numerous guides and am flashing my 360 samsung drive (ms25) with the xtreme 5.2 firmware. When booting from my usb drive, I type in mtkflash r/m orig.bin and it shows one drive labeled "XTREME Pri Master" and when I select it it says "Port: dcoo, Master/Slave:a0". I have also tried typing in mtkflash r/m /sata orig.bin at the commadn prompt and i get the same thing. Any ideas or responses would be much appreciated. Thanks.

i also have ms25 and flashed wit the 5.2b fw...how i did it?...i used a tut by textb00k...

I think you did the command wrong... try this one...

mtkflash w /sata /m firmwarename.bin


Example mine had to be done like this....

When flashing use this command mtkflash w /sata /m x52a.bin

When backing up originals use this command mtkflash r /sata /m orig.bin

Thanks for the responses guys I ended up using the command in iHack's link that textbook used "samread serial#" then "samhack serial#" and it worked like a charm.
