Backup game saves from Broken 360???

Our 360 just all of a sudden started to get very sluggish and then it just turns off.

So were going to take it back to the store, but all of the game saves are saved to the hard drive. How do we go about getting those saves off of it before we take it back to the store? We want to tranfer the saves to the new 360. Thanks

three possible ways...
1. tell them you want to swap the HD since all your game saves are on that one.
2. buy a new 360 take it home and swap the HDs take the broken 360 back along with the new HD and get a refund.
3. there is a kit thing you can guy at like wal-mart or best buy that allows you to take your game saves and transfer them to your computer.
